About Kalendarnegeri.my

Malaysian calendar online, complete, accurate, easy to use.

What is Kalendarnegeri.my?

Kalendarnegeri.my is an online Malaysian calendar. The goal is simple: help you check public holidays, state holidays, and Hijri dates without juggling multiple sources.

On top of the Gregorian calendar, you also get the Hijri calendar with important Islamic observances. Every date can be opened for a full breakdown including Western zodiac and Chinese zodiac.

Why it exists

Public holiday information in Malaysia exists, but it's scattered. To check a state-specific holiday you have to dig through the state government site. To convert to a Hijri date you need another tool.

Kalendarnegeri.my puts it all in one place. One site, everything you need. Fast, free, no install.

Data sources

Nothing here is fabricated. These are the sources we use:

  • Federal and state public holidays are based on the Malaysian public holiday gazettes published each year, cross-referenced across the 13 states and 3 federal territories.
  • Hijri calendar uses the JAKIM e-Solat Takwim, the official Malaysian Hijri calendar based on the MABIMS imkanur rukyah (moon-sighting visibility) criterion.
  • Chinese calendar is computed using standard astronomical rules. A lunar month starts on the day of the new moon at the 120°E meridian (China Standard Time, UTC+8), and year pillars follow the traditional ganzhi sexagenary cycle.
